The annual Saskatchewan Poultry Industry Conference took place in Saskatoon at the Radisson Hotel from March 14th-15th.
This conference is an excellent opportunity for students to connect with local producers as well as attend the Tradeshow and learn about the various products available to the industry. It can also give students the opportunity to present their data directly to producers and stakeholders in the hopes that it may improve their knowledge base and aid them in continuing to ensure a sustainable and welfare conscious industry. This year Kailyn Beaulac presented data from her MSc on turkey stocking density to the Turkey Farmer's of Saskatchewan.
