The 2018 Prairie Poultry Meeting took place in Edmonton, Alberta on May 7th-8th.
This meeting is a chance for students from Alberta and Saskatchewan to come together and discuss current poultry research that is being conducted. It also provides an excellent opportunity to improve student's presentation skills. There were 14 people (faculty, staff, grad students, and summer students) who attended from the University of Saskatchewan. Students who presented from our lab group were: -Sarah Struthers -Bethany Baker -Timothy Fiss -Carley Frerichs -Samantha Lalonde -Bruna Franco -Eugenia Herwig Two students from other labs at the U of S also presented: -Rachel Savary (from Dr. Hank Classen's Poultry Nutrition lab) -Emilie Viczko (from Dr. Natasha Hogan's Toxicology lab)
