Today we celebrated another successful defence, this time by April Hammond! Her thesis title is "The effects of LED light flicker on turkey hen production, health, and welfare to 11 weeks of age"
We are very proud of April for this accomplishment and are excited to have her remain with the team, working as a research assistant!

Every year the Department of Animal and Poultry Science holds a Mini Conference, where 4th year undergraduate students present their undergraduate research topics. Our summer student, Margaret, presented the behaviour results she spent all summer working on from our variable light intensity study and she did an amazing job!
