More exciting news! Karen was awarded the National Turkey Federation Research Award, which is given to recognize distinctive research work that has a strong economic impact on the turkey broiler industry, primarily on the economic influence the work has had or will have on the industry.
In addition, Sarah, who is now working on her PhD in Scotland, received the Alltech Student Research Manuscript Award for one of the papers she published from her MSc work at the U of S . This award is given to a graduate student for the presentation and publication as senior author of an outstanding research manuscript in Poultry Science® or The Journal of Applied Poultry Research.
